Isager Silk Mohair is made from 25% silk and 75% super kid mohair to create a soft, lustrous yarn with a light, fluffy structure.
We use it mostly in combination with other yarns, but it is also beautiful used alone especially in a simple design. A structured pattern will not be visible in this yarn unless the Silk Mohair is knitted with another smoother yarn. Since Silk Mohair is soft and fluffy, some shedding is to be expected both during knitting and in the finished project. Isager Silk Mohair is of the best quality with long staples.
Composition : 75% super kid mohair 25% silk
Meterage : 20 g ~ 212 mt
Recommended needles : 2 - 6 mm
Care Instructions : Hand wash in warm (not hot) water with mild soap. Lay flat to air dry.
