Isager - Merilin - Wool and Linen
Merilin is a 3-ply yarn made of 80% wool and 20% linen, with a fingering thickness. The linen fiber sits softly on the wool and this gives the yarn a beautiful melange effect, since the linen does not absorb the wool dye.
Merilin is a soft yarn and is also recommended for children's projects and for many people with wool allergies.
Because the yarn is 3-ply, it works great with textured patterns.
Why do I like it so much? Because it is fresh, it is rebellious to color, it is crunchy and bright, it is enough on its own, but together with other fibers it is always the King of the Party.
Composition: 80% wool 20% linen
Meterage: 50 g ~ 210 mt
Recommended needles: 3 - 4 mm
Care Instructions: Hand wash in warm (not hot) water with mild soap. Lay flat to air dry.
