It wasn’t until the 1990s that Marianne Isager really began to explore the world. In this book, we follow Marianne on her travels to Latin America, Africa, Greenland, and Nepal. When you travel, the doors open wide and offer an abundance of inspiration: not only the patterns of fabrics, baskets, and ceramics, but also the architecture, the landscapes, and all those wonders that fill the mind and soul of those who visit a new place for the first time and experience the traditions, food, people, and history of the country, wonders that creep deep into the body.

As in the first book, some of the most significant patterns that Marianne has created in the past are presented, many of which reflect current fashions. The book also contains 16 new patterns and instructions, patterns that draw inspiration from Marianne's travels, all combining creativity, high craftsmanship and high-quality yarns.

During these years of travel, Marianne's home village of Tversted, located in the northern part of Denmark, remains the constant point in her life. Tversted is also the home of the Isager yarn company, owned and operated by Marianne Isager and her daughter Helga.
