Lino Mūka, translated from Old Lithuanian, means "The Life of Flax".

Producing flax from the plant fiber is a very complicated and time-consuming process. First, the stalks are separated from the rest of the plant matter, and then immersed in water. Once dry, the stalks are beaten until they become flexible. Only after this entire process can they finally be spun into yarn.

Flax Mūka comes from Lithuania, where the use of this plant is very popular and has a special cultural value. Flax has been grown in that area for thousands of years, as both the climate and the soil are ideal for the plant.

CHARACTERISTICS
Linen is a strong fiber that becomes softer and more beautiful over time. A high-quality linen garment will continue to retain all of its initial properties and beauty even after many years of washing and use. The linen fiber initially feels rough and coarse, but it will become much more elastic and soft once handled and knitted.

Linen always feels cool to the touch , making it one of the best materials for the summer season . It absorbs moisture but still feels dry.

And of course, this linen is purely plant-based and is therefore suitable for people with wool allergies or very sensitive skin and vegans!

CHARACTERISTICS

Linen is a hard-wearing fiber that becomes softer and more beautiful over time. An item of clothing made of high quality linen will still look and feel great after many years of washing and wearing. One shouldn't be put off when touching a rough linen yarn for the first time - the fiber will become much more supple when handled and knitted.

And of course, linen is also purely plant based and is therefore suitable for people with wool allergies or very sensitive skin as well as vegans!
