My love of mending led me to search for the perfect thread to mend the most delicate and finely textured garments.
The illustrious mending wool Laine Saint-Pierre was originally from Lyon. It was taken over by Maison Vrau of Lille in 1971. It now belongs to Ets Toulemonde, also owners of the Fil Au Chinois brand.
Saint Pierre is a four-strand darning wool. Aside from its original purpose of darning, it is often used for many traditional embroidery projects and in cross stitch.
The thread is made of wool and polyamide and is very strong and easy to use.
A huge selection of 48 vibrant colors to choose from.
